AVID Express Pro Editing
A practical course designed for editors who have experienced editing packages such as Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro and want to take the next step to AVID. AVID editing systems have become the industry standard in both the TV and Film businesses and AVID Express Pro is a great introduction to the software.
The course will give an introduction to capture, bin organisation, composer window, trim mode on the timeline and importing music and graphics.
Course requirements: This course is an Introduction to AVID but the student must have experience of at least one other non-linear editing software such as Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro. Please note this is not a suitable course for complete beginners!
Course Tutor: David Dacosta. Maximum of 4 students.
This intensive course runs over 2 days and classes take place at OFVM from 10.30am until 4.30 pm (includes breaks).
