Welcome to Summerscreen 2010 and another blockbuster film festival for young people in Oxfordshire. Join us for 9 days of workshops, screenings and tours and be part of a fantastic celebration of film at the beginning of the summer holidays.

This year we highlight some of the latest technologies making film accessible to all. Explore the new, ground breaking uScreen web site, have a go at audio description or work with top animator Andrew Gibbs of Magic Hour fame.

Catch the BBC bus as it pulls into Oxford to give us a taste of their latest 'state of the art' online technologies. Grab the opportunity to be a presenter, journalist or studio operator and join studio LIVE 305 at Film Oxford. Learn all the skills you need to run a TV studio and be part of a team creating your own daily magazine programme streamed live on the web.

Back by popular demand - special effects workshops, mini movies, Harry Potter tours, premiere screenings, film under the stars and more. And to bring the festival to a close the fabulous cinema finale on Sunday 1 August at the Phoenix Picture House – showing the Best of the Fest 2010...
