This evening workshop will run through the basic essentials you will need to create a film and to create a plan to launch your career.
- Finding a do-able script
- Finding cast and crew
- Shooting tips
- Getting your film seen
- Social media basics for filmmakers
- The career ladder
- Distribution and exhibition
- Money and how to get paid
Elliot will follow his talk with a brief introduction to the “Raindance Post Graduate Film Degree“, a new collaboration between Film Oxford and Raindance to be run in Oxford. The 1 year course (2 year part-time) is currently successfully running in London at Raindance.
