Russell W. Highsmith

Hello, my name is Russell. I was  born four months premature. I first got interested in filming when I was 4, because my dad had a video camera which I thought was a fascinating toy. Then in the early 2000's I went to Abingdon and Witney College where one of the lessons I had was media, which was about video production. My grandad won a video camera in a competition which I wanted to have as my own camera, but of course he wouldn't let me. He let me have it on long lease, which got me into it. So I bought myself a video camera which I had for 3 years. Then as we moved into the digital age, I got myself a hard-disk camcorder, which I used to do my films on.

I have now become more drawn towards script writing.

I started script writing in 2007 but have learnt a lot since then.

I hope that in the future I will have my own comedy series.
