We will accept late applications to 5th January 2009 at very latest.
In autumn 2008 OFVM - film oxford will start a two year professional development programme for artists with a learning disability in Oxfordshire. The programme will look at traditional arts (such as painting and drawing), and especially digital arts – this is art created using computers, video and digital cameras.
The trainees will:
□ Work with professional artists
□ Develop their artistic talent
□ Create lots of new art work
□ Learn how the art industry works
□ Meet other artists and exchange ideas
□ Learn how to get their artwork seen and exhibited
□ Raise their artistic profile
□ Make the public and the art world aware of their work
□ Have their art work seen in a public exhibition
Flash Frame is open to people with learning difficulities who are over 18 years old and live in Oxfordshire.
If you are chosen you be asked to attend some workshops on 29th and 30th January 2009, where you can meet the artists and find out more about the project.
